I am so excited to be here writing these words… and delighted to be on the brink of helping those of you that have invested in the Sitecore® Experience Platform™ but have not yet unleashed its potential due to training limitations.

This week, Sagittarius has launched Sagittarius Academy, our exclusive set of Sitecore training tracks to empower marketers and developers in the UK and globally.

With Sagittarius Academy, we aim to tear the barriers down and enable teams to realise the potential of the Sitecore platform and its associated marketing features. Here, I am discussing the Experience Track specifically, which has been designed by us, for those who use the platform with regularity, to deliver a training solution that works.

The Experience Track initially covers ‘getting started’ content management tasks, authoring & publishing moving swiftly onto the marketing features; the elements that, in my experience clients are keen to leverage, but lack the knowledge. The Experience Track then delves into the out of the box solutions including configuring Campaigns, Goals, Profiles and personalisation, which will be quick wins for organisations to get started with the delivery of content in context. For anyone that has completed our SBOS workshops, or plan to do so, these modules enable the implementation of the outputs of the sessions, allowing data to start building in the xDB database, resulting in more meaningful analytics and enable success measures for such tools as the Experience Optimization.

Once delegates have mastered personalisation the session will progress with the more advanced marketing features that the Sitecore® Experience Platform™ boasts including (Sitecore 9) Forms and Marketing Automation / Engagement Planning. This will enable marketers to bring to life triggered marketing ambitions and deliver more relevant user journeys and communications to your varied audiences.

Finally, the session will through the Sitecore analytics modules to enable marketers to glean insights from the data being captured in xDB. Looking at Experience Analytics, the Analytics Profile and Path Analyzer the track will explore how data can be used to determine user journeys delivering the most value now or those that have potential to do so in the future.
